The focus of this 8-week program is a full-time internship with a local company where you will gain valuable professional experience. Internships are available in a wide range of disciplines.
You will be based in Singapore, a prosperous city-state that has overcome its lack of natural resources to become a powerhouse economy of Asia. You will work closely with small or medium sized companies on projects that align with your background and interest areas. In addition to the intellectual growth provided by the projects, you will also experience local life and culture through guided cultural immersions that will set the stage for personal exploration of the city and country during your internship.
During this program, UF faculty members will accompany you during the first week to get you acclimated. After that the local coordinator will continue to be available for any of your needs.
