Welcome to the UF CLAS PROMISE Program!
UF PROMISE is a program offered through the University of Florida’s Office for Academic Support (OAS). The Office of Admissions identifies students for participation. UF PROMISE offers a variety of services to support first-year students in their academic transition from high school to college. These services include the coordination of the PROMISE students’ Preview experience, guidance in major and course selection, and overall assistance navigating UF policies and resources. OAS provides PROMISE students with valuable enrichment services and activities, including peer mentors and life skills workshops.
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) advisors create workshops for PROMISE students throughout the academic year on topics such as wellness, academic planning, and time management. You can find more information about upcoming workshop offerings on the Promise Events page.
Promise Students who are in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences can meet with a CLAS PROMISE Advisor, called Promise College Advising Liaisons (PCAL).
