If you aren’t ready to choose one of the available PaCE majors, you have the option of choosing either Exploring Humanities and Letters or Exploring Social and Behavioral Science. Which you choose will depend upon where your interests, skills, and abilities lie. You can choose one of these exploratory categories while you take courses to help you decide which major is a good fit for you. Exploratory students are expected to be researching majors and talking to academic advisors frequently. Students can remain exploratory for a maximum of three full-time semesters and must select and meet the transition requirements for a PaCE major prior to transitioning to campus.
